So...Skinny Jeans.... they're ok as long as they're worn by the right people. There was this one time, I was at a concert and one of the guys had skinny jeans. First of all, he had almost no legs to begin with, then he wore skinny jeans....he looked like a creepass insect that had had half its legs removed. They can look decent so long as they are worn by the right people. By the right people, I mean NOT guys. Skinny jeans accentuate the hips. Guys are not supposed to have hips. They do not need hips. Big hips are supposed to ease childbirth. Guys do not need to try to appear as though they can easily have lots of babies. They work ok for women because they are showing off a more feminine trait. Also, unless the guy has nothing in that area, why the hell would he want to wear skinny jeans.. one would think it would be uncomfortable. Maybe not though, I don't suppose I would know.

for guys, its kinda awkward, but if they're not too tight, it looks fine (otherwise, they're squares on toothpicks). it would also help if the really skinny, awkwardly lanky and leggy skater kids didn't wear them. they're just plain awkward. however, there are also some girls who shouldn't wear them. if the right person does it properly, it's fine; but that generally doesn't happen (thank you awkward leggy skater kids).

Ok.... what is all this hate for guys in skinny jeans?

Personally I think they are great, and its kinda hard to find good jeans if you are a guy who is skinny like me.
So skinny jeans work well, except if you wear chicks jeans they can't bee too tight because you will generally manage to crush your package.

I don't think skinny jeans work for larger guys or really really skinny guys, its not a very cool look.

Generally speaking, I am not a big fan of skinny jeans. However, as you all have been saying(well, as Funky and Spaz have been saying), there are people who can pull them off. Obviously, the combination of larger guys and skinny jeans just has an awkward result. As well as the guys that have legs the size of a normal persons arm. Those who are in between can usually get away with it. Further, there are also many women who cannot wear them. (yes melaniii even those made for childbirth can look awkward in them :P) *cough* Spaz and Yvette *cough*

Cassidian, I did say that some could look decent in them. And perhaps some guys could.....just as a generalization which holds true in almost every case. Also, Yvette and Shivani have the same body type. Neither of them have hips so it makes sense that they could look slightly awkward in them. Although it could be worse.

@Shempi

That's why I only wear loose fits.
Straights are just plain...scary. It's like a cloth-made-torture device.

And since when did PURPLE become a MANLY color?!

Loose fits aren't too bad. Straights are just annoying, and I think they look kinda bad lol. Skinnies are awesome though, I found a really nice pair the other day and they are made out of this really nice dark blue soft Japanese denim.

And I don't think purple is a manly colour, but sometimes it isn't too bad :P

You're starting to sound like a girl. "I need pants that show off my cute butt." FAIL!

The only time clothing would be exciting is if,

1) You didn't actually have to shop for it
2) It was free
and
3) It magically appears when needed.

*poof*
